What's New with  FAFSA:

The 2025-2026 FAFSA, online or as a mobile app, is open .  To ensure we receive your completed FAFSA, remember to include Yale's Federal School Code, 001426 once completed.

CSS Profile Fee Waiver Requests:

For the upcoming 2025-26 academic year, the College Board has opened the CSS Profile application as of October 1st,  2024 .

Undergraduate Financial Aid will begin reviewing requests for CSS Profile fee payment codes in early February for Regular Decision applicants. Currently, the offices of admission and financial aid do not require the CSS profile to proceed with our processing. If you have additional questions please contact our office.

Please also note that the College Board offers fee waivers for U.S. applicants from families making up to $100,000 a year.  To see if you are eligible see CSS Profile’s Information on fee waivers.

Yale offers two tools for estimating what a Yale undergraduate education would cost after accounting for financial aid. The Quick Cost Estimator provides a ballpark estimate based on six simple questions. The Net Price Calculator provides a more detailed estimate, using more information about your family's finances.
